Dear Parents, In this one-semester course, students develop their skills in choral performance, music theory, music history, and music appreciation. The choral component involves engaging in vocal training techniques and exercises as well as learning specific pieces to be performed in concert at the end of the semester. Participation, attitude, effort, and improvement throughout the semester are of paramount importance in evaluating the students in the performance component of the course.
